Accattone: Accattone oli Pier Paolo Pasolinin elokuvan nimi vuodelta 1961. Kirjaimellisesti 'Accattone' tarkoittaa kerjäläistä. Roomassa se tarkoittaa myös köyhää tai lahjatonta miestä. Kenties Morrissey tarkoittaa tässä sitä, että henkilö, kenestä hän laulaa, on oleva hänen ensimmäisenä...

Visconti: Luchino Visconti, kuuluisa italialainen ohjaaja. Työskenteli paljon Anna Magnanin kanssa, tämä oli hänen lempinäyttelijänsä. Voi tarkoittaa myösTony Viscontia, joka tuotti Morrisseyn albumin. Itse asiassa, hiljattain Album Chart Showssa Channel 4:llä, Morrissey muutti sanoitukset seuraavalla tavalla: 'Tony Visconti is me..'
